Description

You will design, manage, and optimize scalable Amazon Redshift data warehouses to support analytical workloads and business reporting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage scalable Redshift data warehouses using Star Schema-based dimensional models.
• Develop complex SQL queries and scripts for data transformation, aggregation, and cleansing.
• Optimize Redshift clusters, queries, and data distribution strategies for performance and cost.
• Integrate data from S3, Postgres, APIs, and third-party feeds using ETL/ELT tools.
• Monitor system performance, perform tuning, and troubleshoot operational issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or warehousing with a focus on Amazon Redshift.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for optimizing complex queries on large datasets.
• Expertise in dimensional modeling, Star Schema, and OLAP vs OLTP structures.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as AWS Glue.
• Practical knowledge of Amazon Redshift Spectrum, RA3 nodes, and distribution/sort keys.
• Experience in cloud-native AWS environments including S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, and IAM.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, PySpark, Tableau, or QuickSight.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for data pipelines and version control using Git.
