Description

Oversee 1-4 fiber-optic cable landing station construction projects in the specified region. Own the full project lifecycle from design and permitting through mobilization, construction, commissioning, and close-out.

Responsibilities

• Supervise contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Deliver weekly or bi-weekly status reports covering schedule risk logs, budget reports, OAC reports, and issue trackers.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor quality, progress, and adherence to QA/QC and safety plans.
• Identify and resolve conflicts within the project team or with contractors to minimize impact on delivery.
• Monitor project budgets and schedules, making necessary adjustments to meet financial and timeline targets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in construction management or a related field.
• Demonstrated experience managing the full project lifecycle: design, permitting, mobilization, construction, and commissioning.
• Direct experience overseeing fiber-optic cable landing station projects.
• Proficiency in managing project budgets, schedules, and change order logs.
• Ability to supervise contractors and verify payments against site tasks.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC procedures and health and safety regulations.
• Experience acting as the primary point of contact between owners, engineers, and local authorities.
• Ability to identify and escalate risks related to labor, subcontracting, and purchasing.
