You will provide comprehensive nursing care across long-term, memory, and rehabilitation units in a 212-bed facility.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while monitoring for side effects.
• Assess residents using biological, physical, and behavioral science principles to identify condition changes.
• Document nursing notes, transfer forms, care plans, and MDS documentation accurately.
• Manage medication counts, transcribe physician orders, and respond to medical emergencies or codes.
• Supervise nursing attendants, assign workloads, and distribute nurse aide assignments.

Required Skills

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana.
• 5+ years of nursing experience.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and Matrix Care.
• Certification in BLS and CPR.
• Experience with NLC.
• Ability to operate medical and AV equipment within scope of licensure.
• Capacity to lift and transfer residents (100-500+ lbs) using gait belts or mechanical devices.
• Strong clinical judgment for complex assessment and emergency decision-making.
• Ability to maintain compliance with HIPAA, state regulations, and Veterans' Administration rules.
