You will manage survey projects with a focus on execution, team development, and quality control.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and verify boundaries for subdivisions, ALTA/ACSM surveys, and easements, composing metes and bounds descriptions.
• Research deeds and legal documents to define parcel boundaries and right-of-way limits for subdivision plats.
• Provide and convert field data using Autodesk and Trimble software, and interpret construction plans for staking.
• Assist project managers with scope development, scheduling, proposals, and cost estimates, while preparing progress reports.
• Mentor staff on knowledge growth, compliance with laws, and adherence to company and client policies.

Required Skills

• Current Texas Registered Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) license.
• 10+ years of experience in surveying.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Trimble software.
• Solid working knowledge of current survey equipment and software.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
• 1-5 years of experience as an RPLS.
