Description

Own release lifecycles and coordinate deployment activities across multiple engineering teams in Austin, TX.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute release cutovers and coordinate deployment events.
• Implement GitOps workflows, branching strategies, and guardrails for Git milestones and labels.
• Triage technical issues by collaborating with development, QA, operations, and project management teams.
• Troubleshoot and debug problems using Splunk in non-production environments.
• Manage and implement Java server applications and web server configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in release engineering or operations.
• Strong proficiency in Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands-on experience with Shell and Python scripting.
• Expertise in Git and GitHub/GitLab version control systems.
• Experience implementing Java server applications using Jersey, Jetty, or Tomcat.
• Experience configuring and managing web servers and load balancers including Apache HTTP Server, Apache Traffic Server, Nginx, or HAProxy.
• Proven ability in troubleshooting, debugging, and performance measurement.

• Degree in any field of study.
