Description

You will build and manage the entire software release lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain build and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Coordinate and execute release activities, including production deployments, and maintain release documentation.
• Plan, schedule, and execute monthly software upgrades, coordinating testing in staging environments.
• Oversee configuration and management of development, testing, and production environments.
• Identify process improvements and implement best practices for release engineering.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in release engineering, software development, or DevOps roles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, specifically Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with version control systems, including Git.
• Experience scripting automation using Python and Bash.
• Proficiency in containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with monitoring and visualization tools like Grafana.
• Proven ability to assess release risks and develop mitigation strategies.
