Description

You will own the end-to-end release process for Android applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with development, QA, product, and operations teams to ensure timely, high-quality releases.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise.
• Manage source code repositories (Git) and enforce branching strategies and proper tagging.
• Handle app submissions, updates, and metadata management on the Google Play Store, including rollout strategies.
• Monitor post-release performance and crash analytics using Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in release engineering or DevOps for mobile applications.
• Strong understanding of Android build systems (Gradle) and CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Google Play Console and mobile release workflows.
• Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks and automation tools.
• Experience with Fastlane or similar release automation tools.
• Knowledge of Kotlin/Java and Android development lifecycle.
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience with monitoring tools and crash reporting platforms.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
