Description

Lead the establishment of a Release Engineering practice from the ground up. You will own the full lifecycle of release management and deployment automation.

Responsibilities

• Establish the Release Engineering practice and management processes from scratch.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps to meet specific deployment requirements.
• Administer the Azure DevOps portal, including Git repositories, branching strategies, and Git management.
• Manage application releases using Azure Pipelines and integrate Azure Boards workflows with release management.
• Deploy applications using NPM tools and Azure App Services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Release Engineering and Release Management.
• Deep understanding of the SDLC and Release Management processes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Azure App Services.
• Proficiency with Git, repository management, and branching strategies.
• Practical knowledge of Azure Key Vault and AKS.
• Experience with Azure Administration.
• Experience working within Financial Services or Banking environments.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to work effectively as both an individual contributor and a team collaborator.
