Description

You own end-to-end release governance for the GCP platform and onboarding initiatives, from planning through hypercare.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage release planning, change approvals, go/no-go decisions, rollback procedures, and hypercare support.
• Define and enforce quality gates for Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including test strategies and peer review standards.
• Lead release readiness, cutover planning, smoke testing, and incident coordination during release windows.
• Maintain release documentation and evidence collection for compliance, including change records and deployment traceability.
• Analyze recurring release issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement through automation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Release Management, Release Governance, Testing, or Change Management.
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
• Expertise in release planning, testing governance, quality assurance, and deployment controls.
• Experience managing releases in regulated enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and audit/compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platform rollouts and large-scale onboarding programs.
• Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and release automation.
• Background in financial services or other highly regulated industries.
