Description

You will oversee release planning and execution across development, QA, product management, and IT operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate release planning and schedules with stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Facilitate the change management process, including impact assessment, approvals, and policy adherence.
• Maintain release documentation, including plans, notes, deployment instructions, and rollback procedures.
• Identify and mitigate deployment, performance, and compatibility risks to minimize production disruptions.
• Implement release automation tools and CI/CD processes to reduce manual effort and increase quality.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Java developer overseeing large cross-functional projects in high-scale environments.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, REST, and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jira, GitLab, GitHub, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of microservices, containerization, and observability.
• Expertise in release management best practices, version control, and configuration management.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes, specifically change management and release management.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent release projects.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
