Description

You will manage the end-to-end release lifecycle for software applications and services to ensure quality deployments and minimal service disruption.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed release plans, schedules, and timelines while coordinating with Engineering, QA, and Customer Care.
• Identify risks and dependencies early to implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Define and maintain release management best practices, focusing on automation and process improvements.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all release-related communications and stakeholder updates.
• Collaborate with QA to oversee testing, manage bug resolution, and facilitate post-release validations and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in release management, project management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies.
• Experience using Jira and ServiceNow.
• Proficiency in management tools such as Smartsheet.
• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven ability to coordinate between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
