Roles and Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate platform releases across z/OS, AIX, and AS400 environments.
• Act as the central point of contact for planning platform software changes, releases, roadmaps, and timelines.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage software releases from development through testing and production deployment.
• Maintain packaging environments and software inventories for platform and engineering teams.
• Develop and coordinate test plans, test execution, test orders, sign-offs, and test reports with Engineering teams.
• Coordinate the deployment of fixes, patches, and single distributions for platform products.
• Ensure releases comply with established Change Management, SDLC, QAP, MER, and ICC processes.
• Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Infrastructure, and other stakeholders to deliver stable and reliable releases.
• Monitor release quality, security, reliability, and compliance requirements.
• Support production health monitoring, incident resolution, and root-cause remediation.
• Identify opportunities to improve release, testing, change, and deployment processes.
• Maintain appropriate documentation, audit trails, and release records.
• Evaluate new technologies and practices and promote the adoption of sustainable platform standards.
• Work effectively within an Agile operating model and collaborate with distributed teams.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance platform efficiency, sustainability, and reliability.

Skills Required:

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, preferably in infrastructure, release, or IT service management.
• Experience in Release Management, Test Management, and Change Management.
• Basic to good knowledge of IBM z/OS Mainframe, AIX, and/or AS400 environments.
• Knowledge of JCL, CICS, and DB2 is preferred.
• Strong understanding of ITIL processes, particularly Release, Test, and Change Management.
• Experience coordinating multiple releases, deployments, and technology changes.
• Strong stakeholder coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused approach with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
• High level of attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Infrastructure, and business teams.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• ITIL or relevant Release/Change Management certification is an added advantage
