Description

Lead release management and agile process improvement for commercial software products.

Responsibilities

• Own the release pipeline and align priorities with usage scenarios.
• Manage complex dependencies between multiple teams to ensure error-free production deliveries.
• Improve agile practices to support efficiency, reliability, and serviceability goals.
• Coach scrum coaches and mentor individuals to foster a continuous planning culture.
• Assess risks and planning estimates to identify and respond to significant project events.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software release management or agile leadership.
• Expertise in Atlassian tools, specifically Jira and Jira Plan.
• Proven ability to manage capacity planning and build plans within agile processes.
• Experience managing dependencies across various teams in commercial software environments.
• Strong skills in risk assessment and project event response.
• Experience mentoring teams and recruiting technical talent.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering software for AWS, Google, or Azure cloud technologies.
• Background as a software engineer, quality assurance engineer, or DevOps engineer.
• Experience planning for teams utilizing a "you-build-it-you-run-it" culture.
