Description

Act as the Release Train Engineer for up to 10 Agile teams, facilitating the delivery of new products and ensuring strategic alignment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile Release Train (ART) events, including Pre PI-Planning, PI Planning, Scrum-of-Scrums, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt.
• Supervise feature execution across ART, Scrum, and Kanban teams, tracking PI objectives, risks, and dependencies.
• Collaborate with Chief Product Owners, Solution Architects, and Tech Leads to ensure strategic alignment and value delivery.
• Drive continuous improvement in Agile delivery processes and manage multiple product implementations independently.
• Synthesize and communicate program-level status and tactical leadership needs to key partners.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Release Train Engineer or Program Manager.
• Deep expertise in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) with experience scaling delivery across teams of varying maturity.
• Strong proficiency in Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Practical experience with Agile toolchains such as Jira, Jira Align, Rally, and Miro.
• Proven ability to lead independently and manage complex product implementations.
• Strong background in Agile delivery, particularly in building new products, capabilities, or teams.
• Knowledge of business concepts and processes to support sound decision-making.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and tactical leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Certified Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification.
• Experience serving as an RTE within the financial services or Group Insurance industry.
