Description

You will manage software release quality and resolve complex technical issues across embedded devices and networking hardware.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Monitor metrics and alerting to ensure timely, high-quality software releases.
• Troubleshoot Linux systems and networking protocols using packet capture analysis.
• Diagnose connectivity, security, and streaming issues in broadband and entertainment devices.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of RDK middleware issues through source code review.
• Architect DevOps solutions and enhance operational tools to improve system performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ and Linux.
• 2+ years of experience as a technical lead mentoring engineers.
• Proficiency in scripting with Bash, Go, or Python.
• Experience with log management and analysis tools including Elastic Stack (ELK), Splunk, or Grafana.
• Experience with embedded systems and cloud infrastructure such as AWS or Azure.
• Hands-on experience with monitoring systems like Datadog or CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins or Concourse.
• Proficiency with Git, GitHub, and defect tracking via Jira.
• Experience managing data using AWS technologies including S3, Athena, and QuickSight.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of RDK, Set-top boxes, Broadband Gateways, or Home Security domains.
