Description

You will ensure timely, high-quality software releases across multiple devices through proactive monitoring, alerting, and deep-dive root cause analysis.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues using Linux systems and networking protocols, including packet capture analysis.
• Diagnose connectivity, Wi-Fi, Ethernet, network protocol, and security/WPA issues in broadband devices.
• Perform deep-dive analysis of RDK middleware issues, including source code review to identify root causes.
• Analyze data from millions of field devices to provide insights for decision-making.
• Develop anomaly detection techniques and data-driven solutions to identify and address system issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ and Linux.
• 3+ years experience with log management and analysis tools such as Elastic Stack (ELK), Splunk, and Grafana.
• Experience with Defect Tracking Tools such as Jira.
• Experience with SCM Tools – Git & Github.
• Experience with Python (or BASH/Go).
• Embedded Systems experience.
• Experience utilizing AWS technologies (S3, Athena, QuickSight).
• 2+ years as a Technical Lead or mentoring a small team.
