Description

Manage z/OS product maintenance and provide L3 incident support for a 24x7 operational environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IBM z/OS product maintenance lifecycle, including installation, maintenance, and support.
• Resolve tickets independently to meet agreed SLA volumes and timelines.
• Provide L3 level support for incident and problem management, including on-call escalations.
• Perform weekend upgrades and support initiatives, specifically on Sundays from 2:00am to 12:00pm ET.
• Contribute to service improvement plans, knowledge base management, and training of junior analysts.

Required Skills

• Deep expertise in z/OS operating systems.
• Proficiency with REXX, TSO, ISPF, and JCL.
• Experience with RACF security and protocols.
• Hands-on experience with VTAM, TPX, TCP/IP, NJE, EE, OSA, and CTC configurations.
• Knowledge of VTAM Enterprise Extender, Mainframe HIS, Netview, and TCP/IP.
• Experience managing Mainframe print (LS, VPS, ESF, etc.).
• Proficiency with file transfer protocols including FTP, SFTP, FTPS, SSL, and ATTLS.
• Ability to manage mainframe configuration and encryption.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Netview and Mainframe HIS.
