Description

You will develop efficient Python code to solve complex problems and extract insights from public databases.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient, well-documented Python code to address technical challenges.
• Apply analytical skills to derive meaningful insights from public datasets.
• Articulate logic and reasoning clearly within Jupyter notebooks or similar platforms.
• Maintain thorough documentation for all developed codebases.
• Collaborate with researchers to exchange ideas and technical insights.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Proficiency in Python coding, debugging, and scripting.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work remotely with a minimum 5-hour overlap with PST/PT.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a remote environment.
