Description

You will develop and maintain distributed systems using Scala within a cloud-based environment.

Responsibilities

• Write and maintain high-quality code using Scala.
• Implement distributed messaging and processing patterns using Kafka and Akka.
• Deploy and manage services within containerized environments.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to build scalable backend services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka.
• Experience with Akka.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CosmosDB.
