Description

Design, develop, and optimize SQL reports and data integration processes for complex relational databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and fine-tune SQL reports and logical data models to align with roadmap goals.
• Develop, debug, and support complex data integration interfaces, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and indexes.
• Write ETL scripts based on dataflow diagrams and technical design specifications.
• Analyze business processes through requirements elicitation and joint application design sessions.
• Monitor report performance and implement corrective actions to optimize execution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a reports developer working with relational databases.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server technology, including T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• 5+ years of experience designing and supporting complex data integration processes and ETL scripts.
• 5+ years of experience with Microsoft products including Power BI and SQL Server versions 2008, 2012, and 2016.
• 5+ years of experience in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis and user interface design.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience working with state clients.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Pension Administration Systems or large State of California systems.
• 3+ years of experience in requirement elicitation, documenting business use cases, and functional requirements.
• Experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), HP ALM, or Jama.
