Description

You will design, develop, and qualify assembly equipment while conducting technical assessments in Cincinnati, OH.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop assembly equipment to ensure technical qualification and performance standards.
• Partner with internal teams and external manufacturing partners to meet quality system requirements.
• Resolve engineering and manufacturing problems using available technologies and data-driven analysis.
• Manage process development tasks including characterization, measurement system analysis, GR&R, and software validations.
• Apply PFMEA to identify risks and implement effective mitigation controls.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in an R&D environment focused on product assembly and test equipment development (or 4 years with an MS degree).
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering.
• Proficiency in PFMEA and Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis.
• Hands-on experience with GR&R and measurement system analysis.
• Skills in material characterization and systems analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently with external suppliers.
• Experience in new product development within multi-functional environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with multi-functional project leadership in a manufacturing setting.
