Description

You will support small molecule discovery for pre-clinical development by conducting cell-based and molecular assays.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-throughput cell-based reporter assays to characterize drug candidates.
• Establish stable cell lines via lentiviral transduction and maintain mammalian cell lines.
• Conduct routine molecular and cellular experiments including DNA, RNA, and protein extraction, immunoblot analysis, and immunoprecipitation.
• Analyze and troubleshoot routine problems, recommending corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate laboratory notebooks and write technical protocols, procedures, and reports.

Required Skills

• Expertise in mammalian cell culture.
• Experience with plate-based cellular assays.
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques.
• Experience with immunoblotting, lentiviral infection, and cellular transfection.
• Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of post-graduation experience or a Master's Degree.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate results through written reports and oral presentations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with medium and high-throughput screening.
• Familiarity with automation instruments and multi-mode plate readers.
• Experience with targeted protein degradation assays.
