Description

Lead laboratory and pilot plant experiments to generate reproducible data and develop validated models for process engineering.

Responsibilities

• Execute laboratory and pilot plant experiments, including sample preparation and characterization.
• Develop, validate, and use simulation models based on experimental results and pilot plant boundary conditions.
• Design experiments, develop work methods, and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Perform process engineering design activities and conduct literature surveys for critical analysis.
• Organize research facilities, including chemicals, equipment, and analytical methods, while documenting findings through internal technical reports.

Required Skills

• PhD in Biology, Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering with a relevant specialization.
• Minimum 2-3 years of research experience (5+ years preferred).
• Proficiency in Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
• Strong analytical and statistical skills.
• Experience with process engineering design tools.
• Ability to interpret technology offers and process engineering documents.
• Familiarity with applicable research guidelines, codes, standards, and legislation.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of research experience.
