You will drive target validation and assay development through mechanistic experiments in cell and molecular biology.
Responsibilities
Develop disease models to support SAR, mechanism of action, resistance, and biomarker selection.
Implement cell-based assays to investigate tumor intrinsic biology and immune-based mechanisms.
Design and conduct mechanistic experiments in cell biology, cellular biochemistry, and molecular biology.
Maintain accurate written reports and present scientific results in an organized, timely manner.
Collaborate across teams to support drug discovery efforts.
Required Skills
Ph.D. in cell biology, immunology, molecular biology, or oncology with 0-2 years of post-doc or industry experience.
M.S. degree with 3+ years of experience or B.S. degree with 5+ years of experience in biopharmaceutical industry.
Extensive experience in multi-parameter flow cytometry for primary immune cell isolation and characterization.
Hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture and molecular technologies including CRISPR/Cas9, lentiviral transduction, western blotting, and quantitative PCR.
Proficiency in functional assays such as proliferation, apoptosis, and cell cycle analysis.
Strong background in cancer research and molecular/cell biology.
Proficiency in scientific data analysis using GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, and Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
Proven record of rigorous science through publication history.
Preferred Skills
Experience with IncuCyte, JESS, Flow based cell sorter, ELISA, and MSD in oncology-based drug discovery.
