You will build advanced software solutions for complex research projects involving AI/ML, large-scale data analysis, and scientific computing.

Responsibilities

• Develop AI/ML solutions using deep learning libraries and state-of-the-art hardware.
• Build software pipelines for real-time, high-frequency data processing workflows.
• Design complex database models for storing and disseminating scientific datasets.
• Refactor existing code to meet industry standards for quality, efficiency, and portability.
• Translate individual project efforts into sustainable frameworks and template patterns for scientific infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Expert-level Python programming.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software development or data science for large-scale projects.
• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Engineering, Astrophysics, or Bioinformatics.
• Experience designing, developing, training, and applying state-of-the-art AI/ML models or data science techniques.
• Proficiency with AI/ML, vision, NLP, bioinformatics, or mathematical/computational libraries.
• Experience with SQL and relational database principles.
• Familiarity with RESTful web services and containerization technologies like Docker or Singularity.
• Fluency in Linux operating systems and related tools.
• Knowledge of Git, peer code review, test-driven development, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud development and deployment.

Preferred Skills

• PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• 5 years of experience in AI/ML or data science concentrations.
• Experience developing, training, and fine-tuning LLMs or foundational models.
• Experience deploying AI models onto clinical platforms.
