Description

You will provide on-site technical leadership and consultation for a major web customer in the Seattle area.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead troubleshooting efforts for high-visibility issues on Nexus 9000 and software defects found in pre-production testing.
• Resolve critical impacting issues within the customer's production network.
• Collaborate with Service Delivery Managers, Software Validation teams, and developers to address technical challenges.
• Maintain close customer relationships to build trust and provide technical direction.
• Work independently to isolate problems, determine root causes, and deliver solutions with minimal supervision.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of related experience in network environments or data center infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of IOS-XR OS products, including Spitfire, Catalyst 8000, and NCS5500.
• Experience with MSFT SONiC and Open AI packet flow/infrastructure requirements.
• Proficiency with BGP, ISIS, MPLS, Segment Routing, and Nexus 3000/9000 series.
• Ability to analyze and consult on large hyperscale networks.
• Technical degree in CS, EE, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• CCIE certifications in RS, DC, or SP.
• Experience with Python, scripting, and Linux.
• Knowledge of OSPF, BNG, Carrier Ethernet, QoS, IPv6, and VXLAN/EVPN.
