Description

You will serve as a Nokia Service Platform (NSP) Subject Matter Expert working onsite with customer teams in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot the NSP environment for both production and lab settings, including application-level alarms.
• Interface with local Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel to support operations, maintenance engineering, and operational readiness.
• Develop documented processes to improve NOC visibility into EMS and network elements, including outage management and notification processes.
• Define IP MPLS provisioning standards and create consistent guidelines to reduce fault restoration timelines.
• Lead the opening and progression of Nokia TAC tickets related to the NSP environment.
• Provide technical support for NSP and nodal software upgrades across MPLS, DWDM, and Microwave NEs.
• Generate performance, analytics, capacity, and architecture audit reports.
• Develop on-demand scripts and automation for operational needs, such as nodal password changes.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Nokia Network Service Platform (NSP) operations.
• Deep knowledge of Nokia 77xx Service Routing devices, including hardware, software, and diagnostics.
• Hands-on experience with MPLS, DWDM, and Microwave NEs.
• Ability to perform network routing setup and IP element configuration.
• Proven experience in technical consultation for tool development and maintenance.
• Must be a US citizen.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA.
• Any graduate degree.
