Description

Support network design and implementation for customers through workshops, testing, and live network maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather network information to define existing designs and technical requirements for new builds.
• Test new tools and features in a lab environment, developing verification plans for live networks.
• Apply patches and fixes to operating software across pre-production and live networks.
• Conduct technology workshops to discuss equipment problems and provide status updates with workarounds.
• Support design and planning for Juniper MX, QFX, and EX series solutions.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience implementing and supporting networking products in LAN, WAN, or Internet services.
• Proficiency with IP/Routing protocols including OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MPLS-TE, RSVP, LDP, and IPv6.
• Experience with VPNs and tunneling technologies such as MPLS, EVPN, L3VPN, and VPLS.
• Familiarity with Ethernet switching, 802.1Q, and QOS.
• Experience with JUNOS CLI across MX, QFX, and EX series.
• Demonstrated ability to script using Python, Slax, Shell, or Awk.
• Knowledge of network management tools such as SNMP and Syslog.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Service Provider architecture.
• Strong ability to communicate technical status and manage risk independently and in a team.
