Description

You will manage and optimize retail POS systems and network infrastructure in a store production environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot POS controllers, registers, and related hardware devices.
• Perform root cause assessments and debugging on server domains to ensure application availability.
• Execute configuration changes and create playbooks to maintain quality assurance for store applications.
• Coordinate with engineering and support departments to resolve complex application and system issues.
• Monitor system alerts proactively and recommend performance optimizations.

Required Skills

• Experience with IBM and TOSHIBA 4690 OS.
• Hands-on experience with NCR R10 retail POS systems.
• Proficiency in Linux, Unix, and Windows Servers.
• Network troubleshooting skills.
• Hardware troubleshooting for POS devices and controllers.
• Ability to develop and evaluate business processes and related applications.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• POS Lab experience and store hardware troubleshooting.
• ITIL certification and Incident Management skills.
• Experience with JIRA, ServiceNow, and Office 365.
