Description

Analyze Android applications and SDKs to detect malicious behavior and security threats.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, unpack, and reverse engineer software to identify threats to Android devices.
• Perform static and dynamic analysis on binaries and APK/SDKs.
• Conduct code reviews to identify security policy violations, vulnerabilities, or improper coding practices.
• Write complex technical reports for non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with team members on security research and threat analysis.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in reverse engineering or security analysis.
• Proficiency with Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp Suite.
• Strong experience with Java, Kotlin, and JavaScript.
• In-depth understanding of Android internals and Android security topics.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and analyze software source code.
• Experience with vulnerability analysis and Android development.
• Knowledge of cryptography, authentication security, rooting, and packing.
• Understanding of network protocols and interception.
• Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing YARA signatures.
• Researching APT threats using OSINT tools like VirusTotal, ExploitDB, and MITRE.
• Mobile software Capture the Flag (CTF) experience.
