Description

Monitor and optimize LTE and VoLTE network performance to ensure high service quality through trending, analysis, and reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network issues including throughput degradation, connection drops, and call blocks.
• Perform site health checks, monitor alarms, and execute troubleshooting tasks like resetting eNB/RRH or updating yang files.
• Execute parameter changes and run traces to resolve RSSI issues and optimize radio resource management.
• Analyze KPI counters and Operational Performance Indicator (OPI) counters to maintain network stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in RF Optimization for major telecom providers.
• 3+ years of recent hands-on experience with LTE and/or VoLTE optimization and performance management.
• Deep knowledge of ALU LTE TDD and FDD parameters.
• Experience with LTE power management, Carrier Aggregation, and associated call scenarios.
• Proficiency with drive testing equipment including JDSU/RAN Advisor, Nemo, TEMS, X-cal, Windcatcher, or FalconSmart.
• Strong understanding of Radio Resource Management, including handover control, admission controls, and capacity management.
• Advanced MS Excel skills, including formulas and running macros.
• Proficiency in UNIX and MS Office suite.
• Ability to run traces for detailed troubleshooting and analysis.
