Description

Design transmitter and receiver circuits for next-generation mobile devices. Own the full development lifecycle from architecture specification to final optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design transmitter or receiver circuits for new mobile phone architectures.
• Specify next-generation receiver, transmitter, and RF front-end components with the RF architecture team.
• Perform RF link budget analysis, simulation, circuit design, board layout, testing, and optimization.
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to upgrade RF performance and ensure standardization compliance.
• Manage maintenance, calibration, and extension for internal lab equipment and test systems.

Required Skills

• Experience with RF link budget, simulation, circuit design, and board layout.
• Proficiency in schematic capture, PCB design, and prototype evaluation.
• Demonstrated design skills covering a major transceiver circuit block.
• Strong understanding of 3GPP 5G RAN4 standards, regulatory, and carrier requirements.
• Expertise in RF circuits, electromagnetic theory, and communication system design.
• Ability to work with global teams across different time zones.

Preferred Skills

• Proficiency with MATLAB, Network Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer, CMW500, UXM, CMX, and Signal generators.
• Knowledge of RF Front End circuits including transmitters, receivers, and duplex/diplex filters.
• Experience with Labview, Java scripts, and Python for automation of RF tools.
