Description

Design and simulate RF hardware for wireless consumer electronics, driving the process from early prototyping through tuning, validation, and certification.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF hardware design simulations using 3D EM simulation tools for product integration.
• Execute RF concepts including impedance matching and Smith Chart analysis.
• Drive hardware design processes from early prototyping through tuning, validation, and certification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet specifications at the component, board, and system levels.
• Utilize RF equipment including network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, power meters, and near field scanners.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in RF HW design for wireless consumer electronics or infotainment.
• Experience with 3D EM simulation for product-level design, specifically Ansys-HFSS.
• Proficiency with RF simulation tools such as Keysight ADS and Momentum.
• Strong understanding of RF circuits, impedance matching, and Smith Charts.
• Hands-on experience with communication testers such as Litepoint, CMW500, or Anritsu.
• BSEE degree with 5+ years of relevant experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Cadence Virtuoso, EMX, schematic capture, and PCB layout for RF circuits.
• Knowledge of LTE, WLAN, BT, GPS, NFC, or WiFi connectivity.
• Experience with Siemens NX.
