Description

You will design and implement the fiber optics transmission network to replace the existing SONET infrastructure with CWDM technology.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Gather requirements for network design and implementation.
• Design, test, implement, and document the fiber optic network.
• Make tactical decisions impacting cost and downtime ramifications.
• Lead and advise project and line management on technology selection and sourcing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience in fiber optics network design and planning.
• Knowledge of SONET, Ethernet, and CWDM/DWDM technologies.
• Recent experience designing and implementing a fiber optic network using CWDM/DWDM.
• Strong analytical skills and good judgment.
• Ability to adapt to frequent changes in technology.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
