Description

You will measure and characterize cellular radio hardware designs across the product line.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build rack-based RF test setups for fully automated hardware characterization campaigns.
• Maintain test setups through regular calibration and coordinate with lab management on equipment maintenance.
• Run automation tools to collect parametric data on cellular hardware designs and provide measurements to design engineers.
• Assist design engineers with data processing and visualization.
• Collaborate with rework technicians on component revisions and test automation engineers to debug script or station issues.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of hands-on RF test and measurement experience.
• Proficiency with RF test methodology and equipment in the 600MHz to 6GHz frequency range.
• Experience using spectrum analyzers, signal generators, network analyzers, cellular call boxes, load pull tuners, oscilloscopes, and DC power supplies.
• Experience running long characterization efforts on RF components or systems using fully automated test setups.
• Ability to read schematics and review PCB layouts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Scripting and debugging experience using Python or Matlab.
• Data analysis experience using Tableau, Excel, or Matlab.
