Description

You will execute RF system and bench testing according to validation plans and manage resulting test data. You will track and debug RF issues in lab or field environments, collaborating with cross-functional teams on mitigation plans.

Responsibilities

• Perform RF system and bench testing while maintaining organized test data.
• Partner with automation developers to build internal automated test systems.
• Work with equipment vendors to debug test system issues and optimize test solutions.
• Support production line RF testing and product certification.

Required Skills

• Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of related experience in RF validation.
• Deep understanding of RF system level parameters including Power, EVM, ACLR, SEM, Band edge, Spurious Emission, Harmonics, Sensitivity, Adaptivity, and Blocking.
• Working knowledge of RF test methodology, troubleshooting, tester bring-up, and bench rework.
• Hands-on experience with spectrum analyzers, CMW500, VNA, power meters, power dividers, and RF switchers.
• Knowledge of wireless communication systems such as Cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, or NFC.
• Familiarity with worldwide wireless regulatory standards including FCC, IC, and CE.
• Familiarity with industrial conformance standards such as 3GPP, IEEE, or Bluetooth SIG.
• Experience with Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASIC) and Cellular Communications.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Experience automating test systems using scripting languages like Python.
