Description

You will design and implement RFID solutions, bridging hardware constraints with enterprise software systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement RFID architectures using UHF (EPC Class 1 Gen 2 / RAIN), HF, and NFC technologies.
• Integrate RFID readers, antennas, and printers from major vendors with enterprise systems like WMS, ERP, and MES.
• Develop software components in Python, C#, or Java to handle data processing and device control.
• Manage hardware-software integration using vendor SDKs, REST APIs, and message queues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience.
• 4+ years of direct, hands-on experience designing and implementing RFID solutions.
• Deep understanding of tag physics, antenna theory, and RF propagation.
• Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java.
• Experience integrating RFID hardware with enterprise systems via SDKs and APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with major RFID manufacturers (Impinj, Zebra, SATO, Alien Technology).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MQTT and RabbitMQ message queues.
