Description

You will design and implement methodologies for the MDHHS Health Services ESB to track message transmissions and support interfaces connecting to the Data Hub.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review system designs, code, and configurations for new use cases.
• Create ROMs, complete testing plans, checklists, and SEM deliverables.
• Coach and mentor developers on applications, interfaces, modules, and reports.
• Manage technical documentation including Incident Response Plans (IRP), Disaster Recovery Plans (DRP), and technical exception requests.
• Execute transition and maintenance plans to facilitate knowledge transfer to state staff.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture or integration roles.
• Expertise with Orion Health Rhapsody Integration Engine (7.x) and Rhapsody Developer Kit (RDK).
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, SQL, and XML.
• Deep knowledge of HL7 version 2.x and HL7 FHIR CDA standards.
• Experience with healthcare vocabularies including LOINC, SNOMED, and RxNorm.
• Hands-on experience with web services: SOAP, REST, OAUTH, and TCP/LLP connections.
• Practical application of transport encryption, TLS, and mutual authorization via certificates.
• Familiarity with Health Information Exchange (HIE) and Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) technologies.
• Experience implementing solutions based on specific Implementation Guides.
