Description

You will manage unattended bare metal OS network builds and hardware ratification for RHEL environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute unattended RHEL 8 and 9 bare metal network builds using KickStart.
• Ratify RHEL 8 and 9 on Lenovo ThinkCentre and Dell OptiPlex workstation hardware with custom software stacks.
• Configure UEFI, BOOTP, DHCP, TFTP, and HTTPD for network-based workstation builds.
• Develop and maintain KickStart files to enable zero-touch unattended workstation deployment.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience in Linux environments.
• In-depth knowledge of RHEL 8 and RHEL 9.
• Proficiency with KickStart and Anaconda.
• Expertise with Shell Scripting.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols including TCP/IP, BOOTP, DHCP, TFTP, HTTP, DNS, and NTP.
• Experience with network topologies and bare metal provisioning.
