Description

You will design, maintain, and support Windows and RHEL platforms within the Windows and RHEL Services Squad.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Windows and Linux platforms in bare metal and hypervisor environments.
• Deploy infrastructure and software adhering to change management processes.
• Provide L2 operational support for Windows/Linux platforms and infrastructure components.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and present system information to customers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years experience building and supporting Windows platforms for large enterprises.
• Strong administration of Windows Server and Active Directory.
• Proficiency in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) administration and OS deployment.
• Familiarity with enterprise storage protocols (NFS, SMB, iSCSI) and filesystem tuning (NTFS, XFS, ext4).
• Experience with virtualization technologies, specifically VMware vSphere and/or Microsoft Hyper-V.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, routing, DNS, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of ITIL and operational change management principles.
• Familiarity with scripting via Ansible or Python.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PowerShell.
• Experience with YAML/JSON and Git version control.
