Description

You will provide critical risk support within a high-pressure trading environment, managing technical incidents and system stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for business requests and reported system impacts.
• Monitor and alert on critical trading system environments using ITRS Enterprise monitoring.
• Execute release implementation and conduct post-release testing.
• Lead daily technical change meetings and manage global resources through formal change processes.
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and proactively resolve problem hotspots.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in technical support or risk environments.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, including multi-table joins and grouping.
• Experience with Unix Shell and Perl scripting.
• Operating system knowledge of Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience with Incident, Problem, and Release management.
• Ability to use Tableau and MS Office for report generation and analysis.
• Knowledge of infrastructure disciplines including network, server, storage, and messaging.
• Familiarity with grid computing and batch management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting traders in a front-office environment.
