Description
You will manage robotic paint processes through online and offline programming to meet strict quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform online robot programming for Sealer, UBC, Dampening, Primer, Base, and Clear by running trials and adjusting parameters.
- Execute offline robot programming using simulation software to conduct reach studies and cycle time analysis.
- Evaluate product quality using elco-meters, Fisher Dual Scope, wave-scan, and BYK-Mac against quality drawings.
- Create handover documentation including robot process snapshots, node maps, quality data, and program backups.
- Identify and recommend opportunities for product improvements or cost reductions.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Fanuc Paint Pro programming software.
- Proficiency in Kawasaki Caroット3 programming software.
- Experience with Kawasaki Robots and Fanuc Robots.
- Ability to use simulation software for reach and cycle time studies.
- Technical experience with quality measurement tools (elco-meters, Fisher Dual Scope, wave-scan, BYK-Mac).
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% and work overtime including weekends and holidays.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with automated robotic paint shop applications.
- Knowledge of Digital Engineering.
- Additional related technical certifications.
