Description

You will program, configure, and optimize ABB robots and cobots for industrial integration. You will analyze robot arm movements, space constraints, and dimensions to ensure safe and efficient automation. You will troubleshoot system issues and optimize performance for continuous operation. You will coordinate with onshore teams and collaborate with engineers to meet project requirements. You will maintain basic PLC knowledge, with preference for Allen-Bradley, and manage SCADA, MES, and Data Historian systems. You will implement industrial communication protocols to ensure seamless data flow between devices.

Responsibilities

• Program and configure ABB robots for integration and automation tasks.
• Perform troubleshooting and optimization of robot arm movements and space analysis.
• Manage SCADA, MES, and Data Historian systems for operational visibility.
• Implement and maintain industrial communication protocols for device connectivity.
• Collaborate with onshore teams and coordinate engineering efforts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in robotics engineering or automation.
• Expertise in ABB Robot Programming, including configuration and troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA, MES, and Data Historians.
• Strong understanding of industrial communication protocols.
• Basic PLC knowledge, specifically with Allen-Bradley systems.
• Engineering Graduate degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation & Controls.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
