Description

Develop, program, and deploy robotic systems and vision integrations at the Wixom, MI facility.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and load robot software, configure I/O, and perform robotic path teaching.
• Configure frames and work objects using Cartesian coordinate systems.
• Set up robot communication protocols including DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, and Ethernet IP.
• Execute installation, start-up, and production support for robotic systems.
• Debug systems and provide technical support to the engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience working with industrial robotics.
• Advanced programming proficiency in at least two of: Fanuc, ABB, or Kuka.
• Proficiency in robotic path teaching and Cartesian coordinate systems.
• Experience with communication protocols: DeviceNet, Profibus, ProfiNet, and Ethernet IP.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read electrical and pneumatic prints.
• Basic to intermediate programming in Visual Basic, C, or C++.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Vision System setup and training.
• Troubleshooting experience with PLC programs.
