Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Develop robotics software applications for navigation, path planning, SLAM, localization, obstacle avoidance, fleet management, robot coordination, task orchestration, and multi-robot orchestration.
  • Build and integrate autonomous robotics workflows using ROS 2 and Python, including real-time robotics workflows and robotics middleware concepts.
  • Implement and validate robot perception and vision systems by integrating sensors such as LiDAR, cameras, and IMU, including sensor fusion and object detection workflows.
  • Develop and test robotics systems in simulation environments using Gazebo (or similar platforms), including robotics communication and ROS 2 topics/services/actions.
  • Collaborate with AI, cloud, IoT, and simulation engineering teams to integrate robotics APIs, backend systems, and simulation validation pipelines.

Skills Required:

  • 6-15 years of relevant experience building robotics software and validating robotics workflows in simulation environments.
  • Strong Python programming skills with hands-on robotics application development.
  • ROS 2 application architecture and ROS-based software development, including ROS 2 topics/services/actions and middleware concepts.
  • Linux development and debugging experience, plus Git/GitHub and software development lifecycle practices.
  • Robotics simulation development using Gazebo, and vision/perception development using OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.

Good to Have:

  • Experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMR/AGV), industrial robotics workflows, and AI-integrated robotics systems.
  • Exposure to robot perception pipelines, semantic segmentation, autonomous navigation systems, and synthetic data generation workflows.
  • Simulation exposure with Unity/Unreal Engine, Docker/containerized deployment, and NVIDIA Omniverse Isaac Sim or digital twin platforms.
  • Interest or exposure to Physical AI, cloud/edge AI, and IoT integration for robotics use cases.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field; Master's Degree in Robotics or Computer Science or related field
