Description

Design and build simulation environments and autonomous robotics workflows using ROS 2 and Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop robotics software for navigation, SLAM, localization, and multi-robot orchestration.
• Build and integrate autonomous workflows using ROS 2, including topics, services, and middleware.
• Implement perception systems by integrating LiDAR, cameras, and IMU with sensor fusion.
• Validate robot behavior in Gazebo simulation environments.
• Collaborate with AI and cloud teams to integrate robotics APIs and backend systems.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience building robotics software and validating workflows in simulation.
• Strong Python programming skills with hands-on robotics application development.
• Deep knowledge of ROS 2 application architecture, topics, services, actions, and middleware.
• Proficiency in Linux development, debugging, and Git/GitHub workflows.
• Experience with vision and perception development using OpenCV, PyTorch, and TensorFlow.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with autonomous mobile robots (AMR/AGV) and industrial robotics workflows.
• Exposure to Unity/Unreal Engine, Docker, or NVIDIA Omniverse Isaac Sim.
• Knowledge of semantic segmentation, synthetic data generation, or Physical AI.
