Description

You will manage robotic simulation and assembly process engineering for BIW, welding, painting, and final assembly lines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Perform robot reach studies for welding, sealing, and handling processes.
• Execute interference-clearance analysis and feasibility studies.
• Create layouts and conduct cycle time studies.
• Provide engineering support for new car model introductions and production ramp-ups.
• Coordinate with offshore teams to define requirements with stakeholders across North America and Canada.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in robotics simulation.
• Proficiency in DELMIA-V5.
• Proficiency in CATIA-V5.
• Deep understanding of BIW assembly processes including Weld, Paint, and Final Assembly.
• Experience producing specification and study documentation to customer standards.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication skills for offshore coordination and client interaction.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 3Dx.
