Roles & Responsibilities:

• Lead the architecture and development of robotics software systems.
• Design and implement perception, localization, and navigation solutions.
• Develop Lidar-based and Visual SLAM pipelines for autonomous robots.
• Build mapping, obstacle detection, and path-planning capabilities.
• Integrate sensors, actuators, and compute platforms in real-time systems.
• Develop and deploy AI/ML models for robotics applications.
• Implement object detection, scene understanding, and behavior prediction solutions.
• Optimize software for embedded and edge computing environments.
• Contribute to Generative AI research and robotics use cases.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and research teams.
• Troubleshoot and improve performance of robotics platforms.
• Support deployment and testing of AMRs, drones, and humanoid robots.

Experience Required:

• 10-15 years of experience in Robotics Software Engineering.
• Strong expertise in Python and ROS/ROS2 development.
• Hands-on experience with Lidar-based and Visual SLAM systems.
• Experience with Cartographer, OpenVSLAM, or similar SLAM frameworks.
• Strong understanding of robotics perception, localization, and navigation.
• Experience integrating AI/ML models into robotics systems.
• Knowledge of object detection, motion planning, and scene understanding.
• Experience with embedded systems and edge AI deployment.
• Hands-on experience with PyTorch and deep learning frameworks.
• Experience working with ARM-based edge devices is preferred.
• Exposure to Generative AI applications in robotics is highly desirable.
• Strong problem-solving, system design, and technical leadership skills.

Education: B.Tech / M.Tech / Dual Degree / Ph.D in Robotics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
