Description

You will develop and maintain software frameworks that interface robotic hardware with perception systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop robotic software frameworks to interface with physical hardware and perception systems.
• Integrate and calibrate perception sensors, including cameras, LiDAR, and tactile sensors, with robotic platforms.
• Build abstraction layers to support plug-and-play integration of AI algorithms for manipulation, motion planning, and control.
• Translate AI research into robust software implementations and optimize code for simulation and real-world performance.
• Troubleshoot hardware integration, software bugs, and system performance issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in robotics software development.
• Strong proficiency in C++.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Expertise in robotic middleware platforms, specifically ROS and ROS2.
• Solid understanding of AI algorithms and their application in robotics.
• Experience with sensor integration including cameras, LiDAR, and tactile sensors.
• Ability to contribute to code reviews and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any field (Graduate level).
