Description

You will design and define technical architecture for scalable Ruby on Rails platforms while leading web and mobile initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design technical architecture for scalable RoR-based platforms.
• Lead development and optimization of RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to align technical decisions with business objectives.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and mentor engineering teams.
• Ensure application security, performance tuning, and DevOps readiness.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with strong architectural expertise in Ruby on Rails.
• Deep understanding of OOP, MVC frameworks, and API design patterns.
• Proficiency with React.js.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong grasp of performance optimization and security standards.
• Experience with automated testing.
• Ability to evaluate emerging technologies and contribute to technical roadmaps.
